Condition Reports

Clear, jargon-free digital condition reports tailored to each client’s brief.  We can provide reports at short notice, and our expert, objective assessments enable informed decisions prior to sale, acquisition, treatment, and insurance claims.

We are pleased to offer remote condition checking, including via virtual courier technology, for clients unable to travel and/or under Covid-19 restrictions.

Treatments

From meticulous treatments such as cleaning, retouching, consolidation and tear mending, to large-scale structural work such as re-stretching and rolling. From single objects to multi-artwork consignments.

We respond rapidly to urgent situations, minimising disruption, risk and loss for clients. If an artwork or project is outside our expertise we will recommend trusted specialists from our international network.

Exhibition & Art Fair Conservation

On-site treatments and condition checking, exhibition/display planning and risk assessments.  We have extensive experience working with exhibition teams, technicians and international transport companies, and as couriers for artworks in transit.

Major public institutions and commercial galleries rely on our services to ensure smooth, efficient de/installation and reduced liability. We are Known Consignor certified.

Artist Interviews & Collaborations

We consult artists, their estates and associates, to document their materials and techniques, and to guide the care and treatment of technically challenging artworks. We regularly advise artists on conservation, materials and collections care to improve the stability and longevity of their work.
